Missionaries to Italy and the Ukraine
The Youngs were resident missionaries in southern Italy for several years, in addition to doing missionary work in the Ukraine. Semi-retired and now living in Florida, Jay and Piera continue to travel back to Italy and the Ukraine each year to strengthen and support the brethren there.
Their hearts touched by the needs of many of the children that they saw in the Ukraine, the Youngs began the “A Child to Love” program in 1994. This program is still active today and is busily ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of orphaned, malnourished, sick, disabled, wheelchair-bound, and abandoned children who so desperately need to know that someone loves them.
