Some of our young people, both teens and below, plan to go to our local Christian youth camp, Camp WAMAVA, for a week in June or July after school is out. Nearly every summer we plan a family outing. |

Discovery Day, a one-day vacation Bible school activity, usually held on a Saturday in summer, is a fun time. We try to get everyone involved, especially our teens as helpers and sometimes as teachers. Each year we focus on a different Bible character and develop our skits, classes, puppet shows, and other activities around that person. |

We devote one Sunday evening each month to singing praises to God. Not only do we learn a few new songs, but we also encourage our men, both young and old, to lead a couple of songs. Everyone has a great time singing and learning as we raise our voices praising God in this wonderful worship. |
|
|
We also devote one Sunday evening each month to prayer. As we praise our God, we bring our petitions to His throne of grace. We pray for our nation, our leaders, the sick, the infirmed, the church, missionaries, those who preach the Word of God. |

|
We try to plan a Gospel Meeting at least once per year, usually held from Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday or from Friday through Sunday |

The family of God also stays close by getting together
for activities other than religious ones. For example, we
have family fellowships in our homes to grow closer to each
other. To celebrate the end of the summer, those of us who
remain in town on Labor Day fellowship at one of our
members' homes for a day of fun, food, fellowship, and just
plain relaxation.
